Croda Nordica – Area Sales Manager

About the role

This is a key role for Croda Nordica. You will be responsible for building, maintaining and expanding the relationships with key accounts in the Nordics. You are responsible for achieving budgeted revenue, margin and growth. You take ownership of developing your customer portfolio and ensure that we remain the preferred supplier.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop new business by identifying potential sales opportunities
  • Maintain and grow business
  • Visit customers to explain, promote and recommend your products
  • Update sales forecasts and annual sales budget
  • Assist in promotion of new and existing products

Requirements

To succeed in this position, we believe that you have some previous experience of B2B selling in the chemical sector. Alternatively, you have no prior experience in B2B selling, but have a solid chemistry background and a strong interest to develop in the business area. We think that you have the ability to work on your own, without supervision. That you are self-motivated, independent and able to plan your own workload.

  • No prior industry, market & product knowledge is required, but beneficial
  • Relevant degree in Chemical engineering alternatively profound chemical competence acquired through previous positions
  • Driver’s license
  • Fluent in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish is an advantage) and English
  • Travelling, app. 50 days/year
